Terms of Service

TGN provides mentorship, education, and guidance for students and aspiring professionals in STEM, medicine, nursing, engineering, research, and related fields. Our services include one-on-one mentorship, application and residency support, personal statement and CV review, interview preparation, and workshops or speaking engagements.

Mentorship and application support are advisory. We do not guarantee admission, interviews, a match, scholarships, financial aid, employment, or any other specific result. Decisions are made by schools, programs, employers, and funding bodies that we do not control.

Our guidance is educational. It is not legal, immigration, financial, tax, or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for your school's official advising or a licensed professional. Information about FAFSA, financial aid, visas, or licensing may change; verify it with the responsible authority before you act on it.

• Provide accurate information about your background, goals, and materials.
• Submit only work that is your own, and keep it that way — we help you present your experience honestly, not fabricate it.
• Meet your own application deadlines and follow the rules of every program you apply to.
• Treat mentors, staff, volunteers, and other participants with respect.

We give feedback, editing suggestions, and coaching. We do not write personal statements, essays, applications, or exam answers on your behalf, and we do not assist with misrepresentation of experiences, credentials, or authorship. We may decline or end support if we are asked to.

Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement. Please give as much notice as you can if you need to reschedule. Repeated no-shows may result in pausing support so that we can serve others waiting for it. Any fee-based service, package, or refund terms will be stated in writing before you commit to it.

Requests to have TGN speak at a school, university, organization, or event are subject to availability and confirmation. Scope, date, format, travel, and any costs are agreed in writing before the event.

Donations are processed through third-party platforms and, unless stated otherwise, are non-refundable and support TGN's mentorship, outreach, and educational programs generally. Please contact us with any question about a gift, a restricted use, or a receipt.

The TGN name, logo, site content, workshop materials, and written resources belong to TGN or its licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute them without our written permission. You keep ownership of the materials you submit to us.

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site.
• Do not scrape or harvest content or contact information for commercial use.
• Do not submit unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.

We link to external resources such as donation platforms, application systems, and social media. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or terms.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The site and our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TGN and its mentors, staff, and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or our services.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site or our services means you accept it.
